Couture Boxed Wedding Invitations
There’s nothing like the thrill of discovering a gorgeous invitation in your mailbox, standing apart from the bills and junk mail! Our truly unique line of boxed invitations goes beyond noting the date, time and place. They set the tone for your event, generate excitement among your guest and act as a cherished keepsake.
Made with the highest quality (and highly unusual) materials. Our desire is to provide a stylish alternative to the generic invitations found at most supply shops. We'll work with you to create a gorgeous invitation package you are thrilled with.
Our couture boxed wedding invitations are embellished with a real orchid flower blossoms and accented with a few blades of sea grass. The blossom is preserved to maintain its shape and color (please note, exposure to air will cause the flower to contract a little after a year or two). It has a delicate, "crisp" feel of a dried flower, yet the appearance of a fresh flower.
YOUR INVITATION SET INCLUDES:
- 5.5” x 5.5” invitation, printed on 80 lb. white linen card stock.
- Matching linen response card & return envelope with USPS Forever Stamp for your guests to R.S.V.P.
- A real orchid flower, accented with a few blades of grass. The flower is approximately 2.75” in diameter. Because we use real flower blossoms, the size, shape and color will vary slightly.
- 6” x 6” x 1” white paper box with snap closure.
- Three sheets of white tulle, wrapped around your invitation inside the box to protect the orchid during shipping.
- White outer mailing box that wraps around each invitation.
- An adhesive mailing label, which seals the mailing box closed. Each label is custom printed with your guests' address and your return address.
- Different fonts and font colors are available - just ask!
We ask that you start by purchasing one invitation sample from our ETSY page (you can choose to place your full order once you are happy with your initial invitation design sample, but no obligation). Send us your wedding wording/information, and we will mock-up your sample design. We will email you a PDF proof for your approval before we print and mail your sample to you. Let us know of any revisions, additions or corrections you’d like to make - we're happy to work with you to ensure that you love your final invitation.
The invitation sample you receive in the mail will be exactly what your guests will receive when you eventually place your full invitation order.
When you receive your sample in the mail, please be sure to check it carefully to ensure that it is perfect. It’s a good idea to have a “fresh” pair of eyes – a friend or a family member - look over your invitation as well. If you are happy with your sample and wish to proceed with a full order, please contact us.
Invitations run approximately $10-15 a piece, depending on the design and the materials used, plus shipping and sales tax (NY residents only pay state sales tax). No minimum orders. The cost to mail this invitation to your guests will be approximately $3.15 each (based on current 2015 USPS postal rates). We recommend making an appointment with your local post office to arrange a time for them to process, hand-cancel and mail your invitations to your guests.
To ensure that your invitations will be ready in time, please place your full final order at least 5-6 weeks in advance of the date you that plan to mail them to your guests.
LARGE ORDERS (51 or more invitations): Because each invitation is assembled by hand, there is an additional $20 fee for larger orders. If your final full invitation order is 51 invitations or more, this fee will apply. We also require additional time to fulfill larger orders. Please place any large final orders at least 6-8 weeks in advance of the date that you plan to mail your invitations.
RETURNS, REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS: Your order will officially go into production once you've emailed us your approval of your design and we have received your payment for the order. Because we send you a sample mock up of your invitation for your approval before you place a full order, returns and refunds are generally not issued once your full order goes into production. If your order is damaged in shipping, or there is an error on our part after you've given us approval for production, we will do everything we can to replace your invitations at no cost to you. We not responsible for typos, errors, or other changes in your design or quantities made once we've received your emailed approval of your final design and your order has gone into production.
If you wish to cancel your order after you've placed it, please call us immediately at 347.671.9249. Cancellations may not be made via mail or email. If your order has already gone into production, a refund cannot be issued. If it has not gone into production, we will cancel it immediately and issue a refund.
