Custom Design

Featured in Country Living and Architectural Digest, our décor adds a touch of rich equestrian chic to any environment. We detail our pieces with new and vintage saddlery and hardware, often found at farms, barns and estates in Upstate New York. But if you have special tack or riding gear of your own, we can use it to create a unique functional work of art that reflects your passion.

Interested in commissioning a custom designed piece featuring your own tack? Read on!

If there’s one thing most horse owners are guilty of, it’s collecting tack. And who can blame you? Beautiful bridles, bits, stirrups, saddles - and don’t forget your own riding gear, such as boots, hunting caps or cowboy hats. They’re all crafted with the most gorgeous details, and have often been tailor-fitted just for you. It’s a serious investment, not to mention a special connection to an important part of your life.

Instead of dusting away in the back of your tack room, we can give that old leather and hardware new life by repurposing it into stylish décor: a leather-trimmed mirror or serving tray, a lighting fixture designed around your riding gear, framed bits, holiday items and more.

Honor your special baby, relive the day you won that blue ribbon, or just express your passion for everything equine. Provide a bridle from a beloved horse and we'll create a truly unique memento for you.

We’ll clean and condition your old tack, then seal it with a coat of wax to preserve its beauty for years to come.

To start, please contact us (or Email us at Send us your thoughts and questions, or email us photos of your tack. We love working with our customers to develop exciting new ideas you’ll love. Send us pictures of the space you’re looking to decorate (entryway, powder room, etc.) and we’ll mock-up a design proposal so you can see what your finished room will look like!

These are just some (but certainly not all) of the decor possibilities:
